Remarkable pair of Italian hand-carved Fauteuils, circa late 1800s in the French Louis XVI taste. The pair features shapely scrolling arms, medallion backs, reeded and tapered legs, bow and drape carved pediment and lower rail, and a beautiful polychromed cream and gold/silver gilt finish. 28" arm height.
