We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of antique Chinese Elm Horseshoe chairs with slide out roller footrests. A very good looking and decorative pair of antique Chinese Elm armchairs. They each have a slide out footrest which has super comfortable massage rollers. The chairs have a timber patina to die for and look amazing in any setting Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the them from top to bottom, there will be some age and use related patina marks based on honest age and genuine use Dimensions: height:- 89.5cm width:- 59.5cm depth:- 60.5cm extending to 88.5cm with the footrest out seat height:- 49.5cm This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.

  • Pair of Early 19th Century Elm Chinese Armchairs
    Located in Hudson, NY
    These chairs from circa 1840 are well made and retain the original split cane woven inset seat mats. The wood is finished in a deep rich red transparent lacquer giving the wood a lustrous finish . They are generous in scale and comfortable and original throughout. The arms are carved in a bamboo pattern and the central splat is decorated with a pierced Chinese linguistic character.
