Pair of Edward Wormley for Dunbar "Morris" Armchairs

About the Item

A pair of rare and unusual Edward Wormley for Dunbar adjustable back lounge chairs. Known as "Morris" chairs they allow for 3 positions-low, medium, high. Made of mahogany and natural cane, aluminum bar in the back. The genius of Edward Wormley is apparent here as he bridges elements of the past styles and pushes into the future, circa late 1940s.
