A pair of English oak library chairs from the late 19th century, with cane and custom cushions. Created in England during the third quarter of the 19th century, this pair of cane and oak library chairs features out-scrolling backs flowing seamlessly into the hind legs. Two arms with petite baluster supports, surround a rectangular cane seat presenting a custom cushion. Accented with reeded motifs and raised on saber legs resting on brass casters, this pair of English oak library chairs circa 1870 will bring a handsome presence to any home.
