We are delighted to offer for sale this sublime and highly collectable pair of fully restored George Smith Signature Scroll Arm cigar brown leather armchairs with oversized feather filled cushions These are just about the finest armchairs available to buy today upholstered with premium leather upholstery which is as “English Country House Fine” as you can get. The chairs cost nearly £5000 in this size for the frames alone, you then have four hides which retail for £650 each and have to pay to have them upholstered! These chairs almost never come up on the open market for sale pre loved as they are all kept in the family, they are amazing. The cushions are overstuffed feather and down filled The chairs have been professionally restored to include having the leather washed back and hand dyed this rich cigar brown colour, they are very fine indeed Dimensions each: Height:- 80cm seat height 51cm Width:- 82.5cm Depth:- 102cm frame only, to the front of the cushion 109cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
