Pair of Italian Early 19th Century Baroque Polychrome and Giltwood Armchairs
About the Item
A sensational and extremely unique pair of Italian early 19th century Baroque polychrome and giltwood armchairs. Each rare armchair is raised by handsome polychrome paw feet with giltwood accents. Striking and large elaborate scrolls extend down each side while stunning large richly carved polychrome and giltwood lavish acanthus leaves lead up each arm. The exceptional upholstered back support displays a beautiful fanciful central floral reserve with an upholstered center and intricately carved foliate movements. Incredible design and fabulous proportions. Upholstered with black leather.
