About

Rare pair of painted fauteuil armchairs made in the Directoire style featuring generous molded frames with a sweeping back. Carved in a neoclassical motif and supported by tapered column legs. Upholstered with a silk damask fabric in a rose gold color each having a deep pillow cushion. The frames have an antique lacquer finish in a dark Napoleonic green that are beautifully distressed.
