About the Item
An attractive & very comfortable pair of giltwood fauteuils, both frames showing arched crest-rails with upholstered backs, sided by padded armrests terminating to carved grips over generously proportioned seats, decorated overall with carved & molded foliate motifs, raised overall on toupie supports.

- Condition:Reupholstered. Repaired: The front support of one fauteuil with an earlier repair, slightly skewed backwards but very stable. Wear consistent with age and use. Both frames are structurally very sound, areas of wear & loss to gilding consistent with age & use, some areas of gilding refreshed.
