Pair of Transition Style Armchairs in Giltwood, circa 1880
About the Item
Pair of Transition style armchairs in giltwood standing on four cabriole legs ending in scroll with a decor of acanthus leaves. Slightly bulged apron adorned with an interlacing frieze. Arm supports slightly behind the leg line adorned with acanthus leaves, ribbonned laurel frieze. Scalloped flat back adorned with an interlacing frieze, acanthus leaves and crown of flowers in its cresting.
Trim entirely reupholstered by our workshops with a Maison Fadini Borghi fabric, Eco reference, I6596003 color.
