Pine and Saddle leather dining or side chairs, France 1940s A striking pair of four French dining or side chairs in pinewood dating from the 1940s with original saddle leather seats, backrest, and large domed metal studs. Standing on rectangular legs joined by a broad carved front stretcher and held together with the original iron bolt pins. These particular chairs are as solid and stable as the day it was made, and for their age, it is still in good condition with a nice used patina, and they will look great in many a midcentury or modern design interior. These chairs would be an eye-catching addition to any interior, such as the living room, family room, screening room or office.
