Large and impressive, hand carved armchair with three bears. This stunning chair is as strong and stabile as the day it was made and the woodwork is in excellent condition also. The exceptionally hand carved frame is entirely made of solid oak, but what makes this chair extra rare and stylish are ofcourse the three bear sculptures with their original glass eyes. Especially the bears climbing the front legs of this vey rare Black Forest chair make this antique a truly desirable and collectible one. For it to, after more than 100 years, still be in such superb condition is like the proverbial icing on the cake.
