Art Nouveau gorgeous Thonet armchair / Model Number 6516
Made before 1911
Model 6516 had been created by Otto Wagner around the year 1903 (manufactured then by Thonet Brothers): This type of armchair was used for fitments of Viennese National Savings Bank (= Postsparkasse) / related building and fitments had been created by famous Viennese architect and designer Otto Wagner (1904-11).

The seat of chair is upholstered with finest brown-colored leather (restored).
The chairs' feet are connected to each other by most elegant curved (bent / arced) strutting. Additionally, there are struttings at backrest existing, too.

It is a very elegant model, much sought-for by Thonet collectors!
