About

These chairs are manufactured and hand decorated in Chicago as per a metal label on the under side. Made circa 1960 or 1970 they have a lovely old world look and are sturdy and in good shape with no damage or breaks. The chairs have generous and comfortable seats and would look great with a simple cushion and be ready to use right away. They are carved and deliberately distressed with worm damage and other features creating an antique look. The hand-painted finish is in a creamy gray ground with touches of dusty rose and forest green applied and distressed to small carved areas for touches of color. The entire surface after painting has been deliberately antiqued with age and wear creating a total effect of the past.
