Mid-20th century Italian Louis XVI style hand painted wooden frame and hand decorated foliate design small bench with silk damask blend upholstered seat from the midcentury. This bench features hand carved fluted details legs decorated with hand gilt foliate detail to the legs. The upholstery is very bright , beautiful and in immaculate condition. Structurally sound piece of furniture, of excellent proportion, ideal for use in any living room or studio. Great seating addition under a window, hallway or at last the foot of a bed. The bench measures 22 inches length, 17 inches wide, and 18 inches high. The seat high is 18 inches.
