About the Item

A sensational and large scale pair of Italian 18th century Baroque Cassapanca polychrome benches. Each beautiful and statement making bench is raised by elegant curved supports with striking hand painted scrolled designs and finely detailed central seashell reserve. The seat displays a striking painted design and scalloped shaped sides with a fine mottled border. The elaborate and beautifully scrolled back has the most impressive and captivating hand painted flowers with a central bouquet and beautiful finely detailed masks above. With all original finish and patina throughout.
