Jugendstil vintage Chair Model number 519 by Thonet. Adolf Loos designed the chair for Cafe Capua. While the wooden parts are shellac polished by hand, the seat is re-upholstered with brown leather. Made of stained beechwood and bentwood. This model was used by Adolf Loos for the Cafe Capua, which was located in the heart of Vienna (Johannesgasse 3, 1st district) and was designed in 1913 by Adolf Loos. The Cafe Museum and the Kärntner Bar, the Cafe Capua was the third coffee house interior design by Adolf Loos. This model Thonet No 519 is one of the design classics from this era.
