Rare limited edition “Capitello” chaise lounge designed by Studio 65 for Gufram, originally designed in 1971. Marked 166/500, this iconic sculptural form reinterprets the capital of a classical Greek column as a playful yet monumental seating object.
Crafted in polyurethane with Gufram’s specialized finish suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the piece combines the appearance of carved marble with surprising softness and comfort. An important example of Italian Radical Design, the “Capitello” is included in major museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Louvre Museum.
