Early 20th century American, Arts & Crafts collection of Poker Work Furniture Unusual collection of poker work furniture signed by maker martin Hokansen Boston mass USA. Superb quality poker work from this maker, depicting lions, florals and shells. Collection is made up of a hall chair, a larger throne chair and a flip-top table chair which could be best described as a monks bench. Both chairs are inscribed underneath. Made in softwood Baize surface on the flip-top is currently removed, so would beed re covering. Monks bench measurements: Height 27 1/2" Diameter 29 1/2" Seat height 16 1/2" Throne chair measurements: Height 40 1/4" Width 20 3/4" Depth 24" Seat height 17 3/4" Hall chair measurements: Height 37 1/2" Width 12 1/4" Depth 17" Seat height 17 3/4".
