Fine George I Period Chair in Walnut, England, c. 1720

About
A finely-aged Walnut side Chair, dating from the first quarter of the 1700s, and English in origin.
The back with paper-scroll top rail and vase-shaped pierced splat. The seat contained within an exposed apron of serpentine form, mounted atop two cabriole legs in front, and tapering splayed legs in reverse.
Notable for its varied, mellow color, a golden brown that only time can bestow.
