French 19th Century Louis XV Style Mahogany Adjustable Desk or Vanity Chair
About the Item
A most unique and extremely decorative French 19th century Louis XV style mahogany adjustable desk or vanity chair. The chair is raised by elegant scrolled feet and cabriole legs with finely carved seashell reserves. The legs are connected by a lovely scrolled stretcher. The wonderfully carved seat is in the shape of a sea shell and displays a beautiful scrolled design and fluted foliate patterns. The seat swivels and is adjustable in height. Lovely proportions.
