Ten Dining Chairs Designed by Richard McCarthy for Selrite

About the Item

A unique set of ten dining chairs designed by Richard McCarthy and manufactured by Selrite. The black painted iron against the smooth grain of the wood perfectly embodies the Industrial feel of the era. Consists of eight arm and two armless chairs. The armchairs feature curved wood arms and back headrest. The stiles are made of wrought iron, as are the splayed hairpin legs and stretchers. An understated and streamlined modernization of the Classic captain’s chair. The seats are generously padded and upholstered.
