Mahogany English Carved Walnut Upholstered Crewel Work Armchair

About the Item

Mahogany English carved walnut upholstered crewel work armchair is carved with acanthus leaf and has shaped sides with bellflower and interlaced ribbon. It has a molded shaped cross stretcher with a carved flower finial. The crewel work extends to all four sides as well as fringe. The crewel work is stitched with castle turrets and fleur-de-lis as well as elaborate floral arabesques. There is very minor wear to the fabric along the top of the chair.
