Marfa Chair, Contemporary Oak and Shearling Geometric Chair by Ben & Aja Blanc

Designed by Ben & Aja Blanc, the Marfa chair is made from solid rift white oak and inlaid with Australian short-cut curly shearling. The side chair can be purchased as a "right facing" or "left facing" version, with one side open and the other closed (see images). The short-cut shearling is purposely chosen for its warm density and texture and partnered with the solidity of white oak; highlighting the inherent beauty of these materials through contrary qualities. The Marfa chair pays homage to the geometric proportions of Donald Judd and surrealism of Meret Oppenheim.

Additional Options

The Marfa Chair is shown with a clear low-lustre finish on rift-white Oak.\n\nCustom finishes and wood species may be available upon request. \n\n
