About the Item
This handsome and refined Mid-Century Modern armchair- realized in the manner of William Haines- features a tapered high back and a tufted biscuit pattern seat and back in new oyster shell upholstery with rectangular saber style ebonized walnut legs and geometric brass sabots. This piece embodies the old world glamour and sophistication of a bygone era. With its clean modernist lines and luxe materials, however, it is also incredibly versatile, representing a winning addition to any style of decor from Hollywood Regency through Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly upholstered and restored to mint condition.
