Pair MCM Keyhole Back Orig Red Faux Leather Slipper Chairs Attr Viking Artline
About the Item
Stunning vintage MCM (a.k.a.) mid-century modern red slipper chairs attributed to Viking Artline, a pair. Comprised of coil springs under the seats, straight, tapered natural oak legs in the front, angled outward in the back, original vinyl or red faux leather fabric with antiqued brass nail head details, and rectangular keyhole backs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Wood was sanded and given a new coat of urethane, vinyl was deep cleaned, and they were given a new dust cover. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. These chairs are RED HOT!!!!! This is a GORGEOUS pair of striking red faux leather slipper chairs attributed to Viking Artline. They are comprised of coil spring seats wearing the original bright red faux leather fabric which features antiqued brass nail head details on the front and back of the seats above the legs and surrounding the outer edges and rectangular keyhole on the seat backs. The seat back is lifted with natural oak slats and bares angled welting or piping at the corners of the keyhole front. They stand proudly upon straight tapered natural oak legs in the front and angled outward back legs. The seats have an ergonomic curvature with a higher mid seat creating a waterfall front, lower in back and curved edges resulting in a phenomenal appearance and supreme comfort! These slipper chairs are going to be just what the designer ordered in your home whether it be mid-century modern, modern country, western, and many styles in-between! Their ravenous red fabric, charming curves, and unique characteristics make them quite irresistible! So, what are you waiting for? Double your seating pleasure… and make them YOURS!!!
