Pair of Charming Late 19th Century French Louis XV Style Painted Open Armchairs

Of generous proportions this pair of 'fauteuil' chairs feature delicate carvings of the Louis XV period executed in relief along the crest and throughout the apron brought into character by the distressed whitish paint. The front legs ending in brass casters make them easily movable.
