This playful side chair is clearly inspired by Baroque designs yet interprets them through a Postmodern lens. The chair is a synthesis of French and Italian designs from the 17th century with its pedimental legs and tufted upholstery but it also nods to the Modern era with its tripod design especially the large back leg. The frame has a silvered leaf finish.
