Set of Twelve Hepplewhite Chairs by Karges, 20th Century

About the Item

A fine pair of twelve Hepplewhite chairs by Karges. The chairs feature plumes and Satinwood inlay. The arms and spade feet are hand-carved with nail-head trim. There are 4 armchairs and 8 side chairs in this set. The chairs are in very good condition with age-appropriate wear. One chair has an old repair that is solid and structurally sound as shown in two close-up images. All chairs are well built and sturdy. These chairs will make a statement in any home interior. Dimensions: Armchairs 39.25" H x 23.5" W x 25.5" D x 18.5" SH Side chairs 39.25" H x 23.5" W x 25.75" D x 18.5" SH.
