A gorgeous and timeless pair of mid 20th Century garden or patio chairs designed and cast by the English firm Molla. These chairs are cast in an aluminum and magnesium mixture. The Molla company was among the first (and best if you ask me) to create this type of outdoor furniture making it quite resistant to rust and corrosion. The pieces were cast in England and then flat shipped to the New York area where they were assembled and sold. Every home in the Hamptons had Molla furniture (or just about every home). The long and beautifully fluted legs, as well as the high back and round seat frame, are also decorated with banded designs. The tops of the legs where they meet the round frame have a leafy top making them perfect for your garden or patio. The pair is presented in the most delicate of mint green with a somewhat deeper mint green original upholstery.
