This is how we created the outdoor chair Cube. The structure in Iroko resists to the Mediterranean climate Mediterranean climate as well as the custom-made fabric made by an upholsterer Marseillaise. Our philosophy Each piece is unique and signed. Our pieces are unique and exclusive, handmade in our workshop. Impossible to find your furniture elsewhere, we make it according to the desires of our customers. They can choose the dimensions, materials, colors and wood species. Thus, we combine our creativity with the imagination of our customers. This also guarantees less waste and no parts made outside our workshop. Inspired by Greece, the table Louka is generous and pure. Its large asymmetrical top of 2m80 is veneered in natural oak. We realized a lacquer for the base and the underside of the and the underside of the tray. The GIGI workshop is first a meeting on the school benches between Florantine and Julien. A few years ago, we were working in totally different environments (Florantine in a communication agency and Julien in the management of an indoor soccer center). We were dreaming of going beyond the ordinary, of surpassing ourselves and above all of choosing a job that really resembled us. We were attracted by the values of craftsmanship, being able to perpetuate the know-how and the feeling of bringing a fragment of history by creating unique pieces. After many reflections, uncertainties, researches and meetings, we decided to follow our passion and vocation, rather than a fixed path. To get started, we went back to school at the ESEA (Ecole Supérieure d'Ebénisterie d'Avignon) to learn traditional cabinet making. We added additional skills to our training: Wood carving, Gilding on wood, Modeling, Molding, Cabinetmaking, Furniture carpentry. Freshly graduated, we decide to found our workshop in Marseille and quickly, we are passionate about design and the search for unique furniture. Passionate about drawing since her youth, Florantine draws the general lines of the pieces and Julien brings his creative touch to finalize the plans.
