About the Item
Louis XVI chaise longue either late 18th or very early 19th century. This piece remains in original paint with white muslin upholstery. It is supported by eight columnar/fluted legs. The paint is somewhat distressed as you would expect of a piece from this period. The handsome back and generous proportions also indicate that it was used for sleeping.
