The "1900" armchair custom made by A. Rudin, Los Angeles. it is a chic, classic but modern Biedermeir style Bergère chair inspired by Art Deco Paris. the chair was part of an extremely chic and high end very "Non-Palm Spings" typical estate. the attention to detail and all the custom made furniture in this home was unlike any we have seen in a long time. The wood id a antique finish myrtle burl wood, The fabric? a beautiful (original to chair) antique velvet that feels like mohair. The color is very hard to describe. It's not coral. not salmon... but something in between and very, very chic and appropriate for the chair. loose seat cushion. Attaces to frame with to elastic with metal clips. A.
