We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of Edwardian smart club armchairs with oak frames and brown leather upholstery that have embossed coat of arms armorial crests in the back These chairs have the original leather upholstery, one chair has some splits on the back in the leather, the other is fine. The uniqueness of these chairs is the hand embossed Armorial Crest, this would have been very specialist and costly to do We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they will have lots of age and use related patina marks in the leather as it’s the original 110+ year old hide, the oak frames are in great order, I'm not sure if they originally had seat cushions, they all came without them so I guess not Dimensions Height 83.5cm Width 66cm Depth 67.5cm Seat height 39cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
