Four Art Deco Streamline Modern Club Chairs in the Style of KEM Weber, 1930's
About the Item
Fantastic and very rare set of 4 1930s club chairs by Theo A. Kochs Chicago in the style of KEM Weber. Aged patina chromed frames, reupholstered in nutmeg colored waxed canvas. Please note that waxed canvas fabric will easily mark or craze, which is the beauty of this fabric, very durable and water resistant.
Quote from fabric mill: "Waxed canvas is similar to leather in the way it ages, patinas and lasts. With regular handling, you will see craze marks or wrinkles. This is to be expected and is part of the highly-desirable characteristics of this material. These can be reduced with heat from a hair dryer, though most people prefer the worn look, the character that waxed canvas develops with over time.
