Art Deco club chair Absolutely love these chairs! Dated early 1900's the chairs had been with the family from new! Originally, from a country house in the Cotswold's we purchased these chairs with a view to a complete renovation. Wow what a transformation! Chairs were stripped to the bare beech,elm and oak frame and restored ensuring a sturdy and comfortable seating position. Springs were re tied and replaced as required. The padding is deep and comfortable and covered with an organic calico. Finally, we selected an individual full leather hide for each of the chairs using over four square meters per chair. The hide is the highest quality and is an antique brown leather that will age beautifully creating a stunning patina over the years. The cushion is finished in the same hide and over filled with a soft foam and feather combination, allowing you to sink into the chair and enjoy the superb comfort of these stunning chairs. Antique brass studwork throughout with the original woodwork details left with an aged patina. the chairs sit on the original castors that can be removed if required. These chairs are unique and will never be repeated. Created by time served crafts people using traditional methods. Purchase yourself a beautiful piece of history now restored to last many years.
