Pair of Large Cream 1950's Club Chairs Attributed to Paul McCobb

About the Item

Mid-Century Moderns upholstered club chairs are the perfect balance between extravagant comfort and style. These design reflects the Art Deco period of the 1930's and the evolution of the chair having cleaner and flexible lines. Where its early origins were generally designed for gentlemen to relax, drink and network, it was towards the nineteenth century well-to-do household had rooms, spaces that weren’t designated for the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. Today, the pair of large boxy sculptural lounge arm chairs is a reflection of contemporary living. The original upholstery in wool is in very good condition
