Pair of Mid-Century Modern Italian Club Chairs with Brass Legs
About the Item
These stylish Mid-Century armchairs were made in Italy in the 1950s. They feature gently reclined barrel-shaped backs with beautiful channeling. The chairs sit on brass tapered cylindrical splayed legs with rounded concave feet. With their clean modern lines and beautiful details, these chairs blend easily with both modern and traditional décor.
They have been newly reupholstered in dove grey mohair and are in mint restored condition. The original upholstery was emerald green velvet but it was in poor condition and could not be saved. The softly rounded shape of channelled backs was completely retained as was the original stuffing. Our goal was to keep the chairs in original condition but this was impossible. We do have photos available of the chairs as we found them.
