This wonderful pair of Art Nouveau Brabant club chairs or easy chairs by Willem Penaat is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
Willem Penaat was inspired by 17th century and 18th century simple Dutch farmhouse furniture when he designed his version of the so-called Brabant farmers chair in 1899.
