18th Century Chippendale Corner Chair with Marquetry Inlay
About the Item
This outstanding 18th century Chippendale walnut corner chair features intricate marquetry inlay in a delicate floral motif. Even the back of the top rail, splats and the back of the legs include inlay. The chair stands on four legs, three straight and the center cabriole leg being ornately carved with ball and claw feet. The seat is covered with rich flocked tapestry. Very sturdy construction.
