19th century Italian barrel-back corner chair, having octagonal acanthus gilt leaf carved backrest, resting on three scroll legs headed by gilt winged cupids, attached by a triangular carved stretcher. Dark red velvet seat cushion and dark red moiré velvet upholstered backrest.
