Beautiful French Louis XV style walnut marquetry from the late 19th century and marble chest of drawers from the 1890s. Marble top, beautiful marquetry on the drawers and on all sides of the dressers. They have a removable tray covered in green leather with a small bronze handle. Handles on the drawers and gilt bronze fittings and decoration on the legs. Very good condition. Made in France. 19th century French walnut neoclassical file cabinet is truly an unusual find! Appearing to be, at first glance, a large nightstands, features a single exterior drawer above a cabinet that opens to reveal an interior ceramic compartment. The sumptuous French walnut has been crafted with a double pilaster design down the front with pyramidal plinths, tapered and fluted motifs, with louvered carvings above scrollwork just above the lower plinth.
