Metal Daybeds

Classic design by Andre Cordemeijer for Auping factory. It was exposed on Milan Triennale in 1954. It is one of those projects which seams to be perfect and any change has to be only for worse. Simple metal frame and teak elements connected in minimalistic form. The mattress and the pillow are new reupholstered with high quality Italian leatherette.

Handsome streamline modern, Mid-Century Modern, or Industrial style royal blue & vinyl or faux leather and chrome chaise or daybed with adjustable head or back rest. Wonderful condition keeping in mind that this is vintage & not new so there will be signs of wear & use. The beautiful original royal blue vinyl has some nicks, holes, & dings, specifically on the four corners, which have been repaired. One of the chrome legs has pitting that has been polished & touched up. And there is a small 1/4 “cut” in the main pad area which we felt was better left alone. Some may want to recover but repairs are minor & look great, so it is priced accordingly. Please see photos & zoom in for details. We attempt to portray imperfections. Circa mid-20th-late 20th century. Note: The vinyl has been treated with lexol and is ready to use. No dust cover as legs are easily removeable for transporting & storage.
