The Cambridge Chair Company brings to you an ultra rare Vintage De Sede DS 169 daybed and sofa 1970s. Designed by Ernst Ambuhler and hand built to incredibly high standards by De Sede craftsman in Switzerland. The daybed easily converts into a double bed with a removable seating cushion that can be used as a mattress. The daybed/sofa is extremely comfortable, in stunning soft black leather and is brought to you in excellent vintage condition. As far as we are aware, this is the only one on the market in black leather.
Heritage:
De Sede has been creating premium quality leather furniture for an international market since 1965. It all began with a small saddler’s workshop in Swiss Klingnau, close to the German border near Waldshut. The sophisticated designs of it's leather furniture, all reflecting the top quality Swiss workmanship, swiftly gained the brand and family run business an international reputation.
