George III Shield Back Dining Armchair, Mahogany
About the Item
Classic Hepplewhite style mahogany armchair with an upholstered shield back and seat, the slender cabriole legs and seat rail with shallow carved Rococo details of shells and leaves. The foot is enhanced with a finely carved sabot. After an original of circa 1770.
