About the Item
Rare Mid-Century Modern pair of Greek key armchairs designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Far East Collection. The chairs feature a hardwood frame with a black lacquered ebonized finish. The decorative arms have a large greek key motif. Generous padded seats with a black faux leather Naugahyde upholstery. The seats are supported by a square base with an Asian motif floating design having square legs. Dramatic profile reminiscent of designs by James Mont. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with older touch-ups on the lacquer finish.
