Set of 6 French Louis XV Dining Chairs with Mohair
About the Item
Set of 6 French Louis XV dining chairs with Mohair are the perfect blend of style, comfort, and quality craftsmanship! The frames are sculpted from solid old-growth oak, and feature a triple arched seatback crown carved with shell, floral and foliate motifs, with foliates embellishing the shoulders, pair of contoured slats, and lower seatback where it joins to the rest of the frame. The aprons in front are beautiful works, with variations on the same theme expressed on a gracefully contoured cross piece. All four legs are elegantly scrolled in the timeless cabriole form tipped with escargot feet, with the front legs adorned with shell and foliate designs in keeping with the artistic theme. The mohair upholstery is in exceptional condition and unusually neutral, making the set compatible with a wide variety of color schemes and room designs, while adding durable comfort for your dining pleasure.
