Set of Four Country Danish Painted Windsor Captain's Chair
About the Item
Whimsical and festive set of four Windsor style captains chairs or smokers chairs featuring a hand-painted finish. 20th century country Danish chairs have a dark red lacquered finish decorated with floral and acanthus motifs on the back rail accented by vibrant blue highlights. The Windsor style frame has turned supports and stretchers and a grab handle on the back. Lovely country European style with a rustic profile and finish. Also known as a bow chair.
