The Tulu chair was designed by the Japanese designer Kazuhide Takahama for Simon International in 1966. The Tulu is one of the very first models that paved the way for the use of chrome-plated steel rod. The steel rod makes it possible to produce softly curved, extremely rounded structures. The back and seat upholstery is attached with zippers and completely removable. The dark blue Alcantara fabric is great, it is the Italian version of Ultrasuede.
