About the Item
Set of eight children's chairs by Elmar Flötotto for Pagholz Flötotto. These German children's school chairs were made of pagwood in the 1960s-1970s, using the technique of molded plywood. The base of the chairs is made from bent chrome-plated metal.
The flexible, ergonomically shaped seat shell made of pagwood, and beech plywood, played a decisive role in the enormous success of the chairs. This was patented as early as 1952 and went down in design history as the “Flötotto form seat” */moebel-branche/
