- Condition:Repaired: Loose joints have been cleaned, glued and clamped Chair seats and back have been newly upholstered Seat upholstery has 8 way hand tied spring construction and are very comfortable Chair frames were French polished in the traditional manner by hand. Reupholstered. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Chairs have a beautiful design & are very-well crafted. They have been restored with a French-polish finish in our workshop & newly upholstered with a Robert Allen cream-colored cotton twill and a double welt of the same fabric.
